All About The Glow

Hey, I’m Andrea—the glow girl behind 86th & Glow. I’ve been in dentistry for 15 years, but my beauty journey started when my lips were going through it. Nothing worked. Until hemp oil came through like magic. I made my first lip balm, and that moment changed everything.

I grabbed my girls and said, “What if skincare felt like luxury but hit different? Like cannabis, melanin, and confidence in a bottle.” I knew I wanted something Sephora-worthy but rooted in our culture, our skin, and our stories.

While I was learning to formulate, I saw how underrepresented women of color were in the industry. It made me think deeper about how cannabis has been ridiculed, misunderstood, and criminalized in communities like mine. The mission became clear—use beauty as a platform to tell my story and highlight the impact of the war on drugs.

During my entrepreneurial journey, I had the honor of being part of Our Dream’s first cohort in 2020—a nonprofit dedicated to connecting underrepresented founders with resources, mentorship, and real opportunities to grow.

I showcased Glow at MJ Impacted and was featured in The Black Cannabis Magazine. Every drop of Glow is personal—and every order helps me tell a bigger story about resilience, beauty, and the power of women who do it all.

You’re not just buying skincare. You’re joining a glow movement.

With love and extra shimmer,
Andrea
